What Nuhaa AI is
Nuhaa AI is a sovereign AI advisory and delivery firm, founded and headquartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We serve regulated enterprises, national institutions, and Vision 2030-aligned organisations across the Kingdom and the GCC — the most consequential organisations in one of the world's most significant AI transformation programmes.
We are AI-native by design. This means productized methodologies over ad-hoc consulting, reusable delivery systems over bespoke builds, data flywheels over project deliverables, and a senior specialist network model over a traditional consulting pyramid. The commercial and institutional implications are significant: a small, deeply senior team operating at a delivery standard that larger firms cannot match at speed.
Nuhaa AI is designed differently from a traditional professional services firm. We operate without a consulting pyramid — no analysts, associates, and partners with work passing downward. Instead, every engagement is staffed with senior specialists matched to the client's specific context, drawn from a curated network of practitioners with deep sector, regulatory, and engineering experience.
This is a deliberate commercial and institutional choice. Senior-specialist delivery is more expensive per person and more efficient per engagement. It produces better work, faster, with fewer misunderstandings. It is the model that AI-native economics makes viable — because our productized methods and reusable systems mean that the leverage is in the intellectual property, not the staffing pyramid.
These are not values statements. They are the intellectual positions that govern how we work.

Bassam AlKharashi
Bassam AlKharashi has been engaged with artificial intelligence since 1993 — studying neural networks, the foundational architecture underlying today's large language models, during his graduate engineering work. Three decades later, that technical depth runs across the full AI stack: from model architecture and data pipelines to agentic systems, RAG deployment, and the governance frameworks that keep production AI performing and compliant over time. What he brings to Nuhaa AI is a combination the Kingdom's AI advisory market does not otherwise have: the ability to read a board's risk appetite and translate it into architectural decisions; to design the governance framework, lead the diagnostic, and evaluate whether a system in production is still performing to the standard that was promised; and to build institutional-grade methodology — published, peer-reviewed, and in active international use — on how organisations create the capability infrastructure that makes AI transformation durable rather than episodic. He understands the Kingdom's regulatory terrain not as compliance constraints to be managed around, but as the structural conditions that determine what is architecturally possible. That combination of technical depth, strategic judgment, governance fluency, and sovereign context is what Nuhaa AI is built from.
Bassam holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University. He founded Nuhaa AI on the conviction that the Kingdom deserves a sovereign AI firm built to institutional standard — not a global consultancy retrofitting AI onto existing practices, and not a technology vendor without the governance weight to be trusted at board level.
Nuhaa AI engagements are staffed with senior specialists matched to the specific demands of each mandate — in sector expertise, regulatory depth, and technical capability. We do not maintain a standing team of generalists. We draw from a curated network of practitioners across AI strategy, data engineering, regulatory compliance, sector operations, and Arabic-language enterprise AI.
The network model is a deliberate design choice. It means every client receives a team assembled for their engagement, not a team available that week. It means our cost structure reflects senior delivery, not pyramid overhead. And it means the intellectual property of the firm — our frameworks, our delivery patterns, our governance models — is the leverage, not headcount.
When a mandate requires capabilities or depth we do not currently have in the network, we will say so.
Nuhaa AI is rooted in Riyadh because that is where the mandates are. The Kingdom's Vision 2030 transformation programme, the national AI strategy led by SDAIA, and the investment programmes of the Public Investment Fund are creating a demand for sovereign AI capability that does not exist anywhere else in this form or at this scale. The organisations we serve are here. The regulatory environment we navigate is defined here. The talent we are committed to developing is from here.
We are a Saudi institution that happens to be AI-native. Not an AI startup that happens to be in Saudi.
